Occupancy
- Per our Master Deed and the housing rules for the State of Michigan, two residents per bedroom is the occupancy limit. A three-bedroom unit may not have more than 6 residents in this unit. Anymore than the specified occupants for each particular unit is a violation of the by-laws.
Pets
- Co-owners are permitted to have 2 cats or 1 dog. If a co-owner wishes to possess more than this number, they must petition the board for permission.
- Co-owners are responsible for picking up after their pets due to the obvious health and cleanliness concerns.
- Per our by-laws, state law, and for the safety of the pet and the co-owners in the community, dogs must be kept on a leash at all times when outside. Also, per the by-laws and state law, dogs must not be left tied outside unattended for any period of time.
Grills
- Charcoal grills are prohibited on the wood decks. This poses a serious fire hazard is against township fire code. You may use a charcoal grill on your driveway or the cement slab outside of your walkout should you have one. Only LP gas grills are permitted on the deck.
